The Retreat

Lampooning a kickoff event for a corporate retreat, The Retreat pokes fun at corporate culture, toxic positivity, white feminism, and companies taking themselves way-too-fucking seriously. The show starts with a rousing introduction by our hosts, "SHE-E-O's" of Men-SES Diana Corn (a self-proclaimed "feminist disrupter") and Silver Surfer (a nepo baby fucking idiot.) In between hilarious comedic acts (drag, stand-up, character monologues, music, etc.) the hosts share ridiculous PowerPoint presentations, read horrific customer reviews, and even sync their periods with the audience by howling at the blood moon. The show culminates with a twerk-filled dance of "WAP" where our "girl boss disruptors" demonstrate that, even though Men-ses may be stupidly expensive, horrifically ugly and don't absorb a damn thing, our "boss babes" are proud of their Wet. Ass. Pussies.

The Retreat showcases talent from other Fringe acts in between the hosts’ raucous dances, comedic bits and musical numbers. Each night our delusional "girl bosses" will have a different, exciting line-up, which will bring "variety" to our variety show and will encourage audiences to come back for more. In between her UK tour gigs, Kate Nash will perform in The Retreat on select dates.
